This paper is related to the continuing discussion on the potential of the Oresund Region. The cluster has developed as a result of the transition of the food sector in the region from holding activities, primarily directed towards the food industry, to food-science Oresund University and Öresund Science Region, encompassing the 12 universities and five cluster organizations in Denmark and Sweden in the Oresund Region.
